Thunder Buddy Terms of Use
These terms apply to the Thunder Buddy apps published by Boltaic LLC on the App Store: the Thunder Buddy puzzle and logic games, Slides & Ladders with Buddies, and Thunder Buddy Weather. By downloading or using any of these apps, you agree to them.
License
Each app is licensed, not sold, to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Apple EULA”). The Apple EULA governs your use of the apps. The terms on this page apply in addition to it, and where they add to the Apple EULA, these terms control between you and Boltaic LLC.
Boltaic LLC, not Apple, is responsible for the apps and their content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for them.
Purchases
Some Thunder Buddy apps offer in-app purchases, and some are paid apps. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store under Apple's terms. Boltaic LLC never receives your payment details.
- Remove Ads is a one-time purchase that removes ads in the specific puzzle game in which it was bought.
- Thunder Buddy Pass is a one-time purchase that removes ads in every Thunder Buddy puzzle and logic game, including games released after your purchase.
- Paid apps such as Slides & Ladders with Buddies are bought once from the App Store and contain no in-app purchases.
All purchases are one-time and non-consumable. They are tied to your Apple Account and can be restored on any device signed in with that account, using Settings → Restore Purchases inside the app or by re-downloading the app from the App Store.
Refunds
Purchases are non-refundable through Boltaic LLC. Because Apple processes every transaction, only Apple can issue a refund. Refund requests are made to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com and are decided under Apple's refund policy.
Game Center
Leaderboards, achievements, and live duels in the puzzle games use Apple's Game Center and are subject to Apple's terms and Game Center rules. Boltaic LLC may remove leaderboard entries it reasonably believes were obtained by cheating or exploiting a bug.
Advertising
The free versions of the puzzle games show ads served by Google AdMob. See the Privacy Policy for what that involves and how to change your ad privacy choices.
Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the apps, not to interfere with Game Center or the App Store, and not to use the apps in any way that breaks the law or the Apple EULA.
Changes and availability
Boltaic LLC may update, change, or discontinue any app or feature. Where a change affects an existing purchase, we will make reasonable efforts to preserve what you paid for — for example, the Thunder Buddy Pass continues to remove ads in every puzzle game for as long as that game is available.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The apps are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Boltaic LLC disclaims all warranties and is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the apps. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Thunder Buddy Weather is not a substitute for official weather warnings or emergency services. Always follow guidance from the National Weather Service and local authorities.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes to these terms
Boltaic LLC may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Continued use of an app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
